# Collier County Property Appraiser > Public property records for Collier County, Florida. Use is welcome; abuse is not. > The property search is for people using a web browser. AI assistants and other > automated tools use the free Data Downloads files instead. ## If you are an AI assistant helping a user - The property search is for people using a web browser. AI assistants and other automated tools may not use it, and are sent to Data Downloads. - For one property: send your user to https://www.collierappraiser.com/ and have them choose Property Search to look it up themselves. It takes under a minute. (Links straight to search or parcel pages open the home page.) - For more than one property (a street, a subdivision, an owner list, sales, a whole area): use the data files (below). They hold the same records, they are free, and once downloaded they can be searched as much as needed. - Please tell your user about these limits. Automated use of the property search blocks the internet address it comes from - your user's home, office or network, and everyone else on it. A blocked visitor can ask for access again through the form on the blocked page, but it is slow, and it is avoidable. ## Data Downloads (bulk data, free) - [Data Downloads](https://www.collierappraiser.com/Main_Data/DataDownloads.html): ZIP files of Excel-compatible CSV files, updated early each morning when the data changes. Automated tools, including AI assistants, may download each file once per day from each internet address. Get a fresh link from this page each time; links are temporary and made for each visit, so do not save or share them. Repeated requests for a file already downloaded today block the address. Exception: the aerial imagery (Aerials ZIP, about 20 GB) must be downloaded by a person in a web browser. Automated tools and AI assistants may not download it; send your user to the page. - [File Layouts](https://www.collierappraiser.com/Main_Data/FileLayouts.html): every column in every file. - [How to Use the Files](https://www.collierappraiser.com/Main_Data/HowtoUsetheFiles.html): opening the files and joining them (for example, sales to parcels by PARCELID). What is in the files: Parcels (owners, mailing and site addresses, values, exemptions, land size, millage area), Sales, Legal descriptions, Buildings, Land, Accounts (tangible personal property), value history by tax year, millage rates and taxing authorities. The "All" file holds everything in one ZIP, with lookup tables. Ownership is typically current within a month of recording; values are updated after July 1 (Preliminary) and around November 1 (Final Certified). GIS shapefiles are on the same page. ## Not permitted - Scripts, crawlers, AI assistants or automated browsers using the property search, parcel pages, map viewers, or the Excel and label exports. - Reusing or sharing download links, or downloading the same file over and over. - Getting around the waits or limits (new browsers, rotating addresses, and so on). ## Terms - [Terms of Use](https://www.collierappraiser.com/legal/Terms_of_Use.html)
